Myrtle Beach Mall and Non-Official Car Meets

The Mustang Week Staff is asking all individuals and car clubs to stay away from Myrtle Beach Mall at time other than those posted as official Mustang Week events. Today, Tuesday (7/14/15) we have been contacted by the Horry County Sherriff's Dept and the SC Highway Patrol about people on the grass and burnouts/flybys in front of the mall. This HAS to stop. We've been warning all Mustang Week participants that we are being watched. That threat is real and very serious. If you want there to be a Mustang Week in 2016 please stop this behavior and avoid the mall until we host our official events. Please move your club's meets to another venue asap.

The bad thing about this is that other small groups are getting together at other local establishments and having burnout contests on public roadways, giving ALL MW participants a bad name.
