Hey SVTP!

I had my Stieg blower pulled, ported september 28th of this year, and just thought i'd let everyone know that everything appears to be in great shape. It's a snakebite stage 5+ with roughly 4K miles on it. Here are the pics! I just hope these set some people with newer blowers at ease.

Pardon my Terminator ignorance but I've seen the older Steig porting jobs with the larger outlet (v shaped cut) - but what's with the aluminum plate welded in there? What purpose does that serve?

It's a "torque plate" that stiegemier started adding to their Stage "5+" blowers so that the TQ #'s are more even with the HP #'s

I still dont understand how the TQ plate works, I guess more restriction = more TQ? I woujld think you would want a blower as open as possible though. Oh well.
