I imagine you're not a 17 year old or someone with the driving skills of a 17 year old. All it takes is one panic turn while coming into a turn to hot and those skinny front tires are going to give out. I know AWD is being marketed as "super safe" but that's more so true when you're driving a 150hp impreza automatic. We were all retarded in high school, do you really think giving a high school kid an evo or WRX is a great idea? Hell I remember someone I went to school with had a bolt on SRT4 Neon, he got busted by a state trooper doing well over a hundred on the NJTP. Trooper ended up calling his parents on the side of the highway. I don't know, maybe I'm missing something, but I know I've been here long enough to see tons of threads about kids in high power cars crashing during street races, or even general dicking around, followed by the "well no teenager should have that powerful of a car!" comments. Then I flip the page and see "well I'm going to get my kid this cool performance car as his first car".
