WOW I don't think I've ever seen anything like that before.... Paint work and engine work are two things you don't go cheap. Good luck with the repaint. Another +1 on Kona Blue.

I am in canada so I'm sure prices will vary but, that price sounds very low for material and labour to strip the hood, prep it and then paint and blend in.

That seems very fair. I would prefer to buy one from AM, LMR or a company similar and have them ship it painted.
