Today I picked up my 09 6 speed coupe after OBX with 1 7/8 primaries, catless X pipe and Vararam intake. Made 441/444 I did not expect these numbers at all. The car woke up and is noticeably faster. Just need better tires/wheels!

NOTHING wrong with the OBX headers. I had a set on my LS2 C6 back in the day. Paid $400 for them, and they were fateful Kooks copies. THey made the same power too for $1000 less dollars. I love the chinese!!

OP, did you mean OBX headers with 1 7/8 primaries?

Anyway, I try not to he too concerned on dyno numbers. More so on the actual performance real world, non the less, those are good numbers.

Did you get a baseline by any chance?

Don't be afraid of knockoff headers. I had the SSAC's on my ls1. Car went 11.80@118 with stock heads/cam NA and 6 speed. You tuned it right?

Yes, I meant 1 7/8, no base line dyno.

STD correction is inflating your numbers a bit, but I'm sure it runs strong!

You're right! I'm surprised I did not notice it. I didn't even pay attention and assumed for some reason that all shops would give you "more accurate" SAE corrected numbers. Oh well, even with 2.5-2.6% between STD and SAE it should still be in 430ish+

That's what my 99 TA made (not that torque though- 428/400ish) with Dart heads, stupid Futral cam, longtubes, catted Y, Borla, LS6 intake, ported TB, custom tune, 4.10's, stock rear. Full weight and just lowered I ran consistent 12.0-12.1 at 121 on Riken Raptor street tires. Keep in mind, I left around 2000 as I had that POS 7.5" rear and drove there. (laughable 1.9-2.0 60fts).

Isn't that what stock coyotes make with a boss mani...
EXACTLY what I was thinking.
71 HP/ liter on the pushrod
88 HP/ liter on the mod motor
130 HP/ liter on my terminator motor (as a comparison for price value)
I'm not impressed lol
Boss mani you say? More like 600+

Ha ha, this is more accurate

Don't worry the weight difference alone is worth it when we are playing the gab band on 80-100+ more hp mustangs lol
