So does my IRS 01 with 3.73s...
Honestly every mustang I have ever owned (5) has had rear end whine to some extent...I only drive manual so I am sure my aggressive driving, shifting probably shares some of the blame.

I heard they were not good.Unless you bought the Maximum Motorsports brand.
I have heard about the mileage charge. I thought it would be the mileage since the first issue related to the lemon claim, not from starting of ownership. Either way, if I got to this point, I do not think it would go well as I am sure there is so much legal BS to make it pointless to try. ...
Any S197 GT500 owner with 3.73s knows all about gear whine....
Yup...if I drop it down a gear and bump the rpms up over 3k it goes away...then my fr500 open up and sound glorious so it's not that bad lolHonestly every mustang I have ever owned (5) has had rear end whine to some extent...I only drive manual so I am sure my aggressive driving, shifting probably shares some of the blame.
Lol, definitely... no ****ing shit, they whine like a liberal...
I had gotten so used to this in my GT500 that I did not even hear it. Took my buddy for a cruise and first thing he said was "WTF is wrong with your car?"
That's horrible OP. Sorry to hear about the mishaps. Hopefully you are keeping everything documented.
I think the EVAP issue runs wild with the FCA family. I had that same issue in my last Ram truck, (a 2005 Ram Daytona 4X4, rcsb), and a lot of others had as well.
All for nothing though, I WOULD LOVE to get myself a brand new Hellcat Charger for a daily driver, but I can't bring myself to get one with winters here, unfortunately.
Good luck going forward.
That's EXACLY how they fixed my issue. They replaced the entire tank and contents.I had to replace and entire gas tank on a Wrangler JK (used car refurb) because of a faulty EVAP fitting. Damn thing was molded into the tank so to properly fix it, it needed complete replacement. If it were my personal car, Id just epoxy the crack and call it a day. Far be it from me to let a gravy job like that leave hehe.

I've had similar dealings with mopar products as well.
Surprisingly, the FRPP 4.10s Ive installed have been relatively quiet. They dont have nearly the same launches on them as the 3.73's. I can tell you though, after 2-3 launches, the 3.73s were loud. Then I did upgraded UCA and LCAs and jesus christ did they howl.
I've had similar dealings with mopar products as well. Back in 08 I rented an 08 charger to drive up to new jersey to pick up some supercoupes. It was a perfect opportunity as I was interested in the chargers at the time. With only 2k miles on the clock the front passenger suspension was making noise and the rear brake caliper was sticking. That ended my quest there.
Then a few years later I learned of the lifetime warranty. Have a friend that has had several transmissions and engines replaced in his vehicle for free over the years. Also had another friend that got his suspension all replaced for free. My cousin just bought 18 ram last year with the lifetime warranty and has recently considering selling it.
We also have an 06 chrysler 300 awd shop car with a built 5.7 cammed hemi and that piece of junk is garbage. It had the dreaded fuel tank recall that would cause the engine to stall repeatedly. It took me 3 hrs to travel 4 miles one day in that heap.
NEVER AGAIN
They've gotten better in the last 11 years. Definitely sucks to get a lemon, but I've been a longtime member of the major Hellcat forums and have not seen a lot of chatter about huge reliability or quality issues. The supercharger whine and some other less serious issues are well known. No different than the MT82 issues, numerous Ecoboost issues etc on Fords. Probably the worst car I've ever owned was my 2012 Mustang GT I absolutely hated it. I bought a 2013 Boss 302 recently and time will tell if my bad taste from Ford repeats itself.
What did you hate about your 12? I really liked my 14 GT.
