I know stretch is frowned upon on here, but at least mine serves a purpose...i chose a 215/40 for my 9.5" in the rear so i wouldn't have to raise the car.

no more purple ricey wheels. i know this isn't an svt, or a ford, but i still like posting here :beer:

as far as the stretch thing, besides it being a euro thing, it was so i could "fit" the wheels without raising the car. everyone said i wouldn't be able to do it or would have a problem doing it, and, well, i did it haha

nah don't work at mercedes, the people there were very friendly though and let me drive up on the show floor outside and were kind of intrigued to see their wheels on my car haha

I like it. I liked other wheels too. One of the biggest VW clubs is around here, I see plenty of these at H20 and waterfest every year.

I'd be scared of curbs period! The rims look good on it though, you should see if you can swap out the Mercedes-Benz logo in the center caps for some VW ones, or paint them black/purple. :thumbsup:

Man, I think that your car looks very nice. But that tire set up looks real unsafe to me. Their is no way in hell that I would drive a car like that, or be around one with a tire set up like that on the road.
