I know this was your first BLUE OVAL and I know you'll enjoy the ride...
For those out there that jumped from a Lightning, Focus or another SVT vehicle, lets here from you also. Select first Snake and add your info to the comment section.
I'm surprised at the number of second Snake owners. Buying the first snake can be tough on the wallet, buying 2 with one closing in on 40K is the deal breaker!
coleman and I had a conversation about how I bleed Mustang, not just a Cobra. These cars are like a religion to myself and others. Sure, it's metal, plastic, rubber, glass, etc, but combined, it's a truly great experience and pleasure.
Driving my 98 the first time is still one of the most awesome memories I have. Something I had dreamed about for many years. Probably more so than driving the 03 the first time.

Mustangs suck! I had to buy as many of them as I could so other people wouldn't be able to!

regarding this car being my first manual...
it took me no less than an hour+ get the car out of the dealership parking lot :lol1: my only consolation was that nearly everyone else had gone home except my friends who offered to call a tow truck! :gt:
damn this car is hard to get going from THIRD! :kaboom:

Ditto (Atlantic Blue Coupe)
My second Snake and 4th Mustang. First 1985 LX, T-tops, 5.0 liter with 5 speed, 89 Lx, 5.0 liter, AOD, Vortech supercharged and many other goodies, 2001 Silver Cobra Coupe and 03 Red Coupe. First Ford was a white 2 dr.1962 Galaxie 500 XL, 1961 Black T-Bird 390 CID,1968 Galaxie 500 2 dr Blk over Green, 390 CID and auto, 1974 Galaxie 500 Brougham 400 CID, 78 Mecury Zepyhr, 79 Lincoln Mark IV(460 CID), 94 Red Lightning, 02 Windstar, 02 Escape.
In 1975 bought a medium Blue L-82 Corvette, sold in 1979 and had a VW squareback stationwagon while in the Army stationed in Germany(1970-1972).
Had a lot of reoccurring problems with Vette, electrical, carburetor and tires. Was not impressed that that vehicle. The VW was shipped back to the States and I drove it for a year while in Grad school. It rusted out below foot controls and the motor died. sold it for the 74 Galaxie.
So certainly I am not a first time Ford, Mustang or SVT purchaser.

Soon to be 1st cobra, second mustang (89 LX 5.0), 2nd manual. Learned to drive the first on the date of purchase, in the parking lot of our current superbowl champs.
Suppose to pick up car this week...yippee! Hopefully I won't have to call coleman for driving/towing advice when I go get her.
