a limited slip to me means more traction less barking gears i could be wrong
and what would a new transaxle have to do with it
i want my car to bark second again with good tires
not cooper lifeliners

The less barking they make the better. If you want them scream so bad it sounds like you need a built up 3L or if you want them to cry for mercy try a power adder.

where the hell are you guys still getting vortecs from??

anyway...never really tried to rip tires before the LSD. After it was in, if i drop it at like 3.5k i can spin them pretty much as long as i want. especially with the 18" s on the car. Well...i haven't tried since i got new tires. But even with the 225/50/16's i had i could do it pretty nice.

I s'pose the lightened flywheel helps a little bit too though.

i got an intake and exhaust removed resonator and flowmaster system
im gonna do the tb optimization and y pipe this weekend hopefully
maybe i can bark 3rd?
ill get the lsd when i bust my diff or get the 3l engine installed

i wouldn't go around trying to do all this on a stock trans. even with upgrades it's kinda pointless. lol once stuff starts breaking on your car you'll agree.

every SVT is different too...friend of mine bill (slimshady on CEG) could chirp 3rd gear consistantly. his car was faster with very few mods (just a sho shop y pipe catually) then lots of other contours. he also was a crazy driver!

I still don't get the issue of 'barking' gears unless you are trying to impress ricers. It could be a simple issue of having decent tires on the car. Put crappy tires on it if you want to feel cool and bark the gears. ONly thing that is going to get you is broken drivetrain parts.

i agree with you, why would you want to lose traction, if your spinnng those tires you aint going anywhere, i tried that into second and took the tranny right out so be carefull
