My 97 vs a 97 lt1

I got 1 off a flag from a street tired lt1 auto car. Mods unknown other then a cutout, but it definetly wasnt stock. Was a hoods shut race, he offered me 1, so I took it.

I have a x pipe/catback and drag radials. Stock gears.

i have long tubes, x pipe, flows, cold air intake, stock gears/tires and i am about dead even with an UNTUNED automatic 97 lt1 that has full exhaust and 4.10s.

You have to watch out for them. Some of them arent any slouches. My buddy's 97 TA LT1 Auto with a catback and cai runs 13.5's on street tires.

And an acquaitance of mine couldn't get out of the 15's on street tires with his catback/intake/programmer tune 95 TA LT1 Auto but I'm sure that was probably waaaay driver error.

i also ran a 94-95 lt1 camaro and put like 4-5 cars on him,

Sure was driver error. I have seen quite a few stock LT1's run 13's
