My 04 Cobra at the Texas Invitational

Went to the Texas Invitational last weekend.

Car made 820 rwhp shortly before the event (added headers and cutouts). Basic stroker motor w/ Whipple 3.4 combo. For reference, before I did the headers and cutouts, the car did 166 in the standing half-mile. Was one of the slowest cars out there, but not the slowest (thank god). :beer:

Best run of 152 mph.

Maybe going to a 4.0 Whipple with a higher compression motor so I can be one of the slower cars next time, instead of one of the slowest (if they let me play again). :-D

You may want to consider the little brother event, Runway Rivalry. It's TI for cars under 1k hp (cutoff was 160 mph at the first event), you'd be a strong contender there! Next one should be next spring, probably a month or so after TI.

Car sounds amazing. I saw pictures of a redfire terminator at the event, any details on that one?

redfire was a TT + SC car, th400 I believe. D3 built car, if i remember correctly. i had heard 1275 thru the auto.

It knocked a few cars out of contention that it shouldn't have, which was awesome.
