My 03 cobra video on streetfire

Hey fellas. I posted this in pics and vids but that section is almost worthless, I'll go to show my buddies something off of there from an hour ago and it's already on page 10.

It's a quick clip I made with the few shots of the cobra i do have but i think it came out pretty nice.

I used Sony Vegas Pro 8.0

And it's because traffic in there is crazy.

Finally, the highway was dead for a mile both ways sans that truck.

Less than decent filmography / picture quality - not really worthy of a bump, don't mean to be the bad news bear I reccomend better quality footage and some work on the editing for the next one.

Actually the VW race came from a cell phone. He sent it to my phone, I put it on the PC, upconverted it to 800x600 3gp, then converted it to WMV, to put it in the video.

So all things considered, I'd say the video quality isn't half bad.

Not to nit pick, but running ANY footage through three encodings is going to degrade the quality a good bit.

Your thread is interesting....it first seems as though you wanted some feedback, then start giving posters attitude?

And why would you race a BPU+ ( at best) 1.8T? Did you have any doubt of the outcome?

To summarize, poor quality video, of a fairly uninteresting race with a MUCH slower car and fly by's in a residential zone, all wrapped into a poorly edited package.

Good news is that your next video can be ALOT BETTER with the construtive feedback you're getting here. Get to filming!

saleen09 - I'll fill you in on a few things.

1. It's winter, my car is in storage, that's all the video I have of the car (sad but, so far that's all of it)

2. I raced the BPU 1.8T because I had no video, so my good buddy wanted to see by how many cars his GLI lost, so we did it. No we didn't doubt the outcome LOL, we all knew what would happen, but then again you still watch porno even though you know what the outcome is going to be.

3. It was actually my first time messing with any video editing, I used Sony Vegas Pro 8.0 and it took maybe 1 1/2 to 2 hours to do, but I was home sick from work on friday and felt like crap so I started messing around with Vegas, Fast forward, the video is there.

4. I wish I could go get some footage, but the Cobra won't come back out until at least April. Which is why I hate Ohio.

The extra good news is, a friend with a Firehawk and Porsche Cayman S are ready to film some races this spring/summer.

Be glad a kid didn't walk out in front of you....or another car didn't pull out like you almost did in front of that box truck
