my 02 Z06 VS Shelby GT500 (vid)

I met up with a buddy and his GT500 earlier tonight and we had 2 quick runs.
Here is the vid of the second run. It started right as we got to the third honk. I had traction control off. Once I hooked the car pulled pretty good.

Why would you swap out an LS6 for an LS2 ? Does the crate motor make more power ?
