"2nd Annual Mustangs for Hospice Pony Run, an MCA sanctioned event. This year, the event will take place on Saturday, September the 29th. Registration is from 8-10 am, followed by a leisurely drive through the mountains of Western NC. Returning to Biltmore Square Mall, lunch will be served by local food vendors. There will be a live DJ spinning tunes from the 50's through the 80's. 'Trunk' prizes (in place of door prizes) will be awarded by local merchants during the afternoon. There will also be a 50/50 raffle. As a special treat to NASCAR fans, there will be a ROUSH/FENWAY RACING car on display from 10-4! Peoples choice voting will take place for BEST OF GENERATION and then BEST OF SHOW with trophies awarded to winning cars. Last year we had over 120 Mustangs enter for our first ever Mustangs for Hospice event. This year we are looking to set a record for the largest gathering of Mustangs in the Southeast for 2007. Come and join us for a very exciting and fun-filled day in Asheville, NC. The Host Hotel for the event is Comfort Suites and is located on site at the mall. We are less than 2 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and NC Arboretum and less than 10 miles to the Biltmore Estate. Call 828-665-4000 for special hotel rates. This event is sponsored by KISS Country 99.9 and Black Mountain Ford/Saleen. For more information please call Joe Grace at 828-670-5638 or Eric and Terry at 828-890-3360. MCA members receive a $5 registration fee discount. Early registration prior to 9/1/07 receive a $5 discount (cannot be combined with MCA discount). Registration fee is $25 per car and is tax deductible."
