Attendees and vendors filled the circle track to take advantage of some fast driving in a safe and legal environment capped off by some copious displays of tire smoke during the SVTPerformance burnout contest. Throughout the day, Mustang Week attendees were able to take advantage of both an autocross course and fun runs on the oval track. The latter proved more popular, as there was always a huge line of cars waiting to tear around the oval, but the autocross had a steady stream of cars as well. Aside from the participatory events, the oval track was occasionally closed down so Formula Drift stars Vaughn Gittin Jr. and Justin Pawlak could wow the crowd with their car control and tire-shredding abilities. The drifting demonstrations set the stage nicely for the SVTP Burnout Contest, which closed out the event.
