Mustang Skip Shift Eliminator

I know that there are ways to tune out skip shift as well as simply unplug it and put tape over the end. I noticed that 2010 Camaros as well as Corvette models have a skip shift eliminator device for about $20 that protects the plug from the elements as well as keeping error codes from occurring.

Is anyone working on this for the '11-'12 Mustangs?

Rather use a 1 cent worth or electrical tape that I already have laying around. 20$ is about 19$ too much to achieve the same goal.
