Me32, maybe in part it's due to people who can't handle their pent up anger, rage, anxiety, fear, etc. There are pressures in society today that were unheard of even 20 years ago. Social media plays a role in it, IMO. We're deluged daily with all sorts of negative media. Bombarded might be a better word. Way too much negativity. But that's JMO.
