Worked a couple hours today as well. Ran into a little bit of a snag though. Was putting on my 99 timing cover. Put on new gaskets, spread some rtv where necessary, and placed my 99 timing cover in place. Started hand threading bolts into their respective places and boom. One bolt just hit nothing. Take a look inside the hole, and there is nothing but a flat metal surface there. This is the only bolt where that happened. The one sticking out right to the right and just below the water pump. What gives? Did the design change in 01 and no one told me? Should I go pick up a 01 or 03-04 mach 1 timing cover? Or should I just say **** it, RTV the hole and move on? Anyways, heres some pictures of the kit and fuel system right out of the boxes. Looks to be pretty nice quality piping. Hopefully it fits as good as it looks! Its like christmas morning! Wideband bung Merge Pipe New Fuel Hat Also got the stock manifolds off today. Apparently to get the new headers to fit with the k member still in the car you have to remove a few of the studs. Hopefully they don't round off as they appear to have a very small hex head. New intake gaskets on Intake and coolant crossover on Anyone know how to take apart the alternator?
