Yes, the filter purifies the water, and then the spray ionizes it. In conjunction with the AutoDry soap, you get NO water spots. I love the thing, I use it all the time, and it really cuts the time it takes to clean your car.
This is after the Mr.Clean AutoDry car wash, no towel drying whatsoever. I washed it with the Mr.Clean following all the steps, then just let it sit:
I live in a super dry climate and it doesn't have enough time to sheet off the paint. What I end up with is a slimy sheet of soap all over the paint and windows.
you do realize that the mr. clean soap eats off all the wax on your paint don't you? That's why the water sheets, there's no wax to bead it up. I wouldn't recommend using the soap, maybe the filter to minimize spots but that's it. You're better off hand drying it in the shade or using the CR spotless dry sustem.
