Friday I had some Michelin Pilot super sports installed all the way around on my cobra. 275/35-18 fronts and 295/35-18 rear. Very first thing I noticed was that these tires run WIDE!! The rears look more like a 315 then a 295 and look very aggressive bulging out a good bit further then the rear bumper. The fronts fit pretty nice though, and look like a 285. I haven't gotten to put too many miles on them yet maybe like 150 miles or so. I mounted them up and went out for a spin and tried nailing first gear not even a mile out and they felt pretty greasy. Now they're better, but I'm hoping after about 500 miles they hook up a little better in first gear. I haven't gotten a chance to take them on any sort of twisty roads yet, but I hit a couple freeway on ramps at a pretty decent speed and they do feel pretty good in lateral grip. The tires are pretty quiet while driving at least new, hopefully they stay that way. Here's a couple lousy phone pics that I have. Car was parked in shade so they didn't really come out to good, sorry about that.
