I have the jlt prefilter on pass side plumbed into rai and still see a little oil on the floor of the blower inlet. I dont think that mesh screen really stops much oil from passing it. it still just pulls oil and air thru it. Im thinking of plugging up the rai fitting and running breathers . Oil getting sucked into the chambers is about the worst thing possible for a boosted motor. But with breathers your not getting that ring seal from the vacume draw so its a toss up. I alway ran a vac pump with a catch can on my race car and it made 30hp+ more on a engine dyno with it. But that would be hard to fit onto these cars. They do make electric vac pumps that could be a option into a catch can it would increase hp/ring seal and keep all the oil from being fed back into the chamber.
