Just what the title says.

What is the most exotic or odd food you have tried? Also, what did you think of it?

I have had:
-squirrel (which kind of just tasted like beef but less tasteful if that makes sense.)
- duck (greasy, yet tart... i really liked it.)
- dolphin not too bad, nothing i would want often
- cow tongue (same as beef, a little chewy)
-rabbit (it was in stew, couldn't really taste it)
-eel ( :xpl: tastes like it smells)
- snapping turtle (yummy)
I can't think of anymore right now
Whats yours....

Springbok.
From South Africa
give me a sec I'll pull up a picture of one

It's pretty much like deer.

I've also had moose - barely remember it but from what I can remember, very flavourful, somewhat tough - but I really enjoyed it
I've had bear as well - yum!

Shark, grasshoppers, beetles to name the top 3 weirds.

Things from the ocean that I can't name or describe, plants that just seem to defy the definition of edible...

too many to list.

When I was about 10 I went to some camp at our local zoo and got to try the food that they fed their parrots, and some other animals. I guess you can consider that exotic.

Other than that...I guess alligator.

Looks similar to a gemsbuk or as they are known in the US an Oryx...they live around White Sands missile range near El Paso, TX...brought in from Africa.
The gems have longer straight horns though. The springbok looks tasty!

Lamb brain and eye...it's a middle eastern thing.

Fois grois , incredible stuff! Wife and I went out for a $$$$$ dinner for Valentines day a few years ago. Had it in Duck Consumee. At $125 a pound it pretty much off limits (I have a can that was given to me in the fridge, just waiting for a good time to spoil myself!)

It's illegal to produce in most(all?) of the U.S. Regardless of how good it tastes, it's ****ed up to force feed an animal through a tube until it's organs become soft and spongelike.

Leave it to the frenchies...
