moroso pan leak

I just got a moroso pan installed and saw that I was leaking a small amount transmission fluid the day after. I got under the truck to see where and the 3 bolts on the back of the pan have a little fluid leaking from them. I checked to see if the gasket was wet at all and it wasn't so I figured the bolts were a little loose so I tightened them just a little to make sure they weren't over tightened. The next day i still had a leak so I called the guy who installed the pan and he said just take the nut off and put a little silicone on the bolt and tighten them again. Has anyone else had this problem? and should this fix the leak? Thanks for the help
