I was ready for some high mph and low 12's today but didn't get either. My previous best with just a predator tune was 13.20 @112. I don't remember the specifics but it was pretty cool that night and not very humid.

Well, tonight it was about 90 degrees and very humid when I ran. I have a 2.8 pulley, predator, upr xpipe, mag catback, and steeda cai.

60ft 2.151
330 5.567
1/8 8.374/87.95mph
1/4 12.786/112.14

The car is full weight, spare jack etc...full tank of gas with about 3 gallons of 100oct. Tire pressure was about 32lbs all the way around.

I am hoping the low mph is a combination of the heat.humidity and maybe belt slip.

any thoughts??

I went 12.7 @ almost 114 with just x-pipe/catback/intake/short shifter in 90 degree weather at Moroso. Seems your car isn't running where it should be? Have you had it on the dyno?

It feels like a raped ape... :) It was lagging a little between shits...and it felt a bit softer in the heat

Your not shifting hard enough and the 100 octane more then likely is ading to the already rich tune on your Predator and killing 40rwhp at least.

I went 12.35@114 a few weeks ago, 90+ degrees and lots of humidty, DA was 2100ft. The heat and humidity is killing us down here right now. According to my tuner I should be trapping 120 ish. Guess I'll find out this winter. Work on your 60 times and shifting, you should have been able to run 12.5-12.6 with that mph. I was full weight, nothing taken out, 31psi in the F1's. Probably a better track though, I go to Bradenton.

high octane fuels dont richen the a/f, they only allow for more boost/higher CR's because they do not detonate as easily. very serously doubt 40 horses could be lost with a rich a/f ratio anyways.

dont worry too much about times and dyno numbers down here, our heat and humidity is killer!
