I am gonna sale my Lethal H pipe. It only has about 300 miles on it. Took it back off today and put the stock H pipe with the cats back on. The Lethal pros: I love the overall tone and old school sound, and the IAT’s run about 8-10 degrees cooler. The Lethal cons: I couldn’t take the gas smell w/o the cats (I am getting old I guess), and the slight “tinny” sound from about 2,800-3,400 rpms under certain throttle conditions. The only difference I see IMHO in the performance with vs. without the Lethal H pipe is that it actually seems to have an ever so slight low end torque gain with the factory pipe and cats set up when you first stab the throttle! And man its running like a tiger now with the tune dialed in and the other mods. I am loving it more than ever. I highly recommend the basic mods and tune for these cars! Cant wait to do the rear gears. This is the only auto work that I dont want to tackle myself. Gonna take it to Tobener Motorsports. Word is he does great work, He is local to me and builds some awesome shelby’s and stangs for street and racing. Guarantees his work and will do the 4.10’s on it (with the diff cooler) for $600. labor. Question: is Ford racing the best set of gears?
