Does anyone else drive their powerglide on the street?

Does anyone have to replace their msd-4 box once every year or so? lol
It seems like like every year or two I have to replace the msd box.

My old boss drove his F1R SBF and a PG on the street. Even on the freeways. He had a 3.50 gear in a 9 inch.

Had dis 4, went cop now, have a new dis 4 in the box if your looking to buy another one

I've noticed on the C.O.P cars power starts to drop a little after 7k rpm. My car pulls all the way to 8k and is still climbing.

forgot to add that I have a 99 cobra short runner intake on 04 cobra heads

I've been driving it around on the freeways with 3.73s gears but i have a 295/55/15 m/t drag radial on it.

I think he had the 325-50-15 MT Drag Radial I believe on a 15x10 Weld Pro Star. Mini-tubbed.
