I agree go JLT CnL or Granatelli. Get a tune for it and you will notice a world of difference. Just for reference my car put down

302 RWHP with a Granatelli Intake and SLP axle back with the mass air flow jumper harness they sell with the Granatelli. Based on stock numbers I gained around 35 hp give or take.

I upgraded to an SCT SF3 tuner with the Bamachips custom 91 Race tune and really noticed a difference.

From my experience I would just wait to buy a good intake and a tuner at the same time. You won't regret it.
