In the mmr manual it says just to install hexagonal spacer for oil pickup tube. I have read that ARP says to cut .070" off the pedestal spacer. Do I have to do this or not.

ARP main studs requires to have the spacer cut by 0.070". I have measured the gap between the oil pickup screen to oil pan and found it 0.300". I think it should be between 3/8" to 7/16".

.375"-.500" = range for Canton pan.
