I just had my sub frames welded in at a local repair shop on my 03 coupe. Should the chinsy factory ones have been removed during the install? I can't really tell from looking but it appears they may have welded the MM's to them. When I had my 03 vert done they removed the stock ones. FWIW, they did a real nice job, the welds are clean, and it's a noticeable difference in ride.

There are no sub frame connectors on the coupe. So nothing to remove before doing the installation. The removable, bolt in, worthless ones are on the Vert only.

coupes don't have factory sub's.... and even if they did, the shop installing them wouldn't weld some over the old ones... you should be fine.

Yeah, I figured the whole thing out. I appreciate all the feedback and help. I saw something else when I originally inspected the job. It's all good.
