Got car [04 cobra] up in the air to prep for bassani x pipe install and went to loosen exhaust manifold to pipe nuts, and discovered passenger side only had 1 nut holding pipe to header :cuss: and the other nut was barely more than snug!!
There is a mark on the flange as if a nut was tightened down-don't understand.
I bought the car new it has 2,100 miles on it.
Glad I wanted to change mid pipe I guess!

Maybe you're just lucky...most guys say those passenger side nuts are a total PITA to get loose. LOL How did the rest of the install go?

Didn't finish yet, just wanted to set up for the job and loosen the manifold nuts and disconnect O2 sensors. Will finish tomorrow. Can't wait to hear the 3" Mac's rumble!
Thanks for reply.
