miss fire on number 7 cyl

I had another thread surge at half throttle. Well i took it to the dealer and we went for a ride they caught it on their computer. it would do it in 4th gear rolling into the throttle at 60mph to 80mph wot runs fine why wouldn't it throw a cel and the dealer ordered the wrong plugs

Misfires are usually a 2 trip logic code, meaning it needs to see the misfire multiple key cycles before it will set a CEL, unless it's a bad misfire, than the CEL will flash. hopefully the dealer can get your car dialed in.
