after a full tune up, plugs, wires, coil packs, ect, fuel filter, air filter. truck was misfiring. i replaced the dpfe sensor. evr solenoid ( egr vacume solenoid) and the egr valve, truck is still misfiring. I plug off the egr it runs fine. i have 1.6 in of vacume at idle on the egr which is normal. i have 22 in of total intake vacume at idle. it is like it is flowing too much exaust gas to the reference side of the dpfe. i read 1.2 volts instead of .2 like it should be. i found if you restrict the reference side of the dpfe sensor the voltage decreases, so i restricted it, the misfire seems to be alot less noticable, almost none at all. maybe headers flow too much exaust gas through the dpfe sensor? which causes higher than normal readings. any input would be appreciated. Like i said, if i plug off the egr completely. it runs fine. Anyone have a link for the egr delete how to?
