MIR Track Rental: 4/15/2013!!

We are joining S197FORUM.COM for a private track rental on Monday, April 15, 2013 at MIR from 9:00 AM to 5 PM. Pumps will be open early so plan ahead if you need fuel.

This event is limited to Drag Radials / R-Compound Tires or Slicks for 2 lanes of well-prepped racing.

Everything else is similar to our past rentals. $100 paid upon entry.

Make sure you bring drinks/food.

Yes. Added to OP. The restriction on standard rubber street tires is to keep the traction compound on the track and offer 2 lanes to everyone. OEM tires pick up the compound like a sponge.

Haven't even rolled the key yet. And once I do roll the key and its running there is still a lot of hours of adjustments and finalization that will be needed to be done. Then I need 1500 break in miles on the drivetrain. After that I will be ready to make some passes. More than likely it will be March before I make a decision on anything.

This event will limit D.O.T. street tires to Drag Radials / R-Compound Tires or Slicks. This way will will support 2 lanes of well-prepped racing.

Everything else is similar to our past rentals. $100 paid upon entry.

S197 also provides a very good fried chicken lunch for a reasonable fee.

I'm really going to try and make this...! I'm putting on LT Headers, and High flow elbow on the TVS now...The long pole in the tent is getting it on the dyno for a retune...! I will keep you updated...thanks..!

Mustangs are fine as long as they use drag radials or slicks. We want well maintained cars and good company.
