Wanted to ask before I hit it with anything hard, but is there a way to get minor surface scratches out of the black Vortech head unit and couplers? They have a couple of very minor blemishes that won't come off with soap/water/towel. Looks like they may have been bumped during install. Nothing major just eyesores and if I'm gonna enter the Mustang Week Car Show I'd like them gone.

Can't get the pics to upload from my phone or tablet.
White looking spots in the pic. Nothing goes past the powder coating.
I second the sharpie idea. Smudge it with your finger shortly after marking it in.
Mine kinda looks the same. Yeah maybe a sharpie but it might be TOO black. Maybe some armor all?
I agree try armor all or even wd 40 wd40 will shine that area make it look like new plastic.if it is a flat black you could buy a can of flat black spray pain spray it into a cup and use a qtip or brush to brush it on or even a qtip.
