Yeah i know they are so hard to find. Before I bought my beater cavalier I tried to find a focus and they had 150k miles for $5000 & not even a rare color. I do love the yellow and orange although sonic blue is nice too. Maybe one day I can find a low mileage one

The best place to find what your looking for Focus-wise is hit up the Focus forums. They not only have low mileage cars, but have sorted cars that are maintained and modded right. FocalJet or FocusFanatics is the best place to start…

Cool I will have to hit them up if I'm in the market again for a daily upgrade lol

A few "fancy" shots of the car this last year… I will hopefully have a few HUGE upgrades coming in the very near future. Stay tuned.

The day has FINALLY come, and I've taken possession of my PWSC! Steve from Tasca introduced me to Pat who lives in Aitkin, MN. only about 80+ miles from me. Pat had purchased one of the LAST PWSC kits from Central Florida Motorsports about 5yrs ago. The kit never ran right on Pat's car due to some engine issues caused to the manifold by the previous owner of his car. I believe NOS was ran through the stock engine, cracking the manifold. Long story long, Pat decided to offload the PW kit and keep his SVT N/A. I'm told the kit only ran on the car for around 1500-2000 miles. I contacted Pat, drove out to Aitkin to check out the kit and made a down payment on the kit! I had been considering a PWSC kit since my first SVT almost 3yrs ago, I could hardly believe there was a LOW MILEAGE kit in my own backyard!!

Come June, 6 and I took possession of the kit.

in it's ORIGINAL box:

I've contacted Apple Valley Ford, a Ford dealership in Apple Valley, Minnesota who have a dyno and a lot of experience in tuning both the PWSC and the JRSC. It just so happens that Casey who originally tuned Pat's PWSC at Hitech, will be once again be tuning this kit as he now works at Apple Valley Ford.

The kit all cleaned up and sorted:

The kit also came with a PWSC badge, which I never knew existed and have never seen one like it on any other car done up:

Glad I could get you and Pat together on this. Can't wait to see it back in a car and running, probably the best supercharger kit eve made for these cars.

Thanks Steve, I too think the PWSC is the best kit for the SVT… it was worth the wait. Can't wait to see what it runs like!

UPDATE: decided to do a little work on the car this winter…the PWSC is on hold as I needed a new bypass actuator, and I'm going to do an LSD on the car when the s/c goes in… car is pretty much sitting, and I'm not driving it, as the Minnesota winters are ridiculous. The ST coil overs are ordered and should be here next week. I've had the CFM STS sitting for a few months now, so I thought I'd throw it in for something to do…

CFM makes a great product, durable and very easy to install.

Got it all installed, pretty easy and straightforward when you pull it all apart. Most difficult part for me, was getting the center shifter cable back in. I didn't pull the center console, so it was tight… but it only took a little less than an hour to complete.

I decided to add a little unique touch to the completed project… my NEW yellow shifter ball to match the exterior of the car. I wasn't going to add it until the car's PWSC was installed, tuned and complete, but I was bored and decided to put it in place.

all in all, I'm happy with it… I had a CFM sts on my last SVTF, and it was amazing to drive, far better than the long throws of the stock setup.

Yay! Merry X-mas! The ST suspension I ordered black Friday has arrived and will be going on this weekend. I opted for the coil over setup over the dynamic kit, and I'm hoping I won't be disappointed. From what I've heard the ST suspension is a great kit for the money, especially being from KW.

For what is basically a KW Variant 1 setup with a galvanized body, the kit is well made, and looks awesome! Yellow coils for my yellow car! Should look and perform amazingly now! Up next then is a new set of wheels and tires. (ESM 004 with Michelin PSS). Then, once Spring is here, I'll then have COSVT toss in the PWSC and LSD and then it's off to Apple Valley Ford in Apple Valley, MN. to get a tune. Piece of cake, right?

Installed the rear setup this evening… Thanks to the help of a video on YouTube from CJ Pony parts, they had an install video of the ST X-coilover suspension on their 2013 Focus ST which helped a great deal! Plus, the fact that I've had the suspension pulled apart numerous times and have the bolts anti-seezed for easy removal.

Naturally, after doing the first side, the second side went by much quicker:

It only dropped the car around half an inch after measuring it, but I haven't driven on it, and it will need to settle. The weather is disgusting right now, so i'll drive it once it gets either really cold, and not sloppy, or wait until Spring.

So, it's been a LONG summer trying to get this car going… and it's FINALLY up and running. It sat for a majority of the summer, as we waited to find the proper connectors for the IAC, MAF and the IAF. On top of all this, COSVT, who did the install, had quite the summer as well, welcoming his first child. We put the car on the back burner, and I proceeded to collect parts and work on my other projects.

But the time has come, I can finally share the pictures and the progress of the car! This was May 1st, 2015 that we started the strip down…

Pulling the car apart:

Something was missing… something I planned on doing…

I wanted a new, black valve cover… and low behold, Chris had one lying around, collecting dust.

Our weekend came to an end there… as we didn't have the proper wiring harnesses to complete the job. So, the car was triple A'd to a friend's house.

I covered the car up with two car covers… as we waited to find the remaining parts of the car. It sat for a majority of the summer, and with a HUGE thanks to Steve@Tasca, we were able to pick up the necessary connectors for the wiring.

On September 13, we were back at it… we had EVERYTHING, and it was time to put this project to rest!

We were also able to get a TOP OF THE LINE wring kit from Ford/Motorcraft via Rotunda to get the wiring crimped, set and heatshrinked properly!

Well, JUST in time for winter my car is tuned, ready, and back on the road!

Car was tuned a bit late, on October 9th by Casey and Hitech:

Of course when I brought the car in on 9/26 to initially get tuned, it developed an oil leak. I just had Hitech replace the oil lines and fittings, and replace the oil block plate with one from Jegs. We also had an issue getting the intercooler pump wired, so I had them do that up for me as well. They did that all up and tuned the car on the Dyno.
This was the result:

Mileage on the car when picked up after the tune:

I was just short of my goal, Casey who tuned it, said the cat needed to be replaced, and a HFC would surely get me the added "oomph". So I picked one up from C-F-M!!

Done, complete and ready to GO!

The car was absolutely FILTHY after not being cleaned and taken care of cosmetically for 3 months, so I took the liberty and washed it down with a good foam cannon and some Chemical Guys products:

The car drives amazingly, and the whine of that S/C is SO darn addicting, it begs you to go MORE! It's also far easier to drive, as with the air intake and larger TB, the throttle response is SO much better! It made the drive home at 220miles away with NO issues whatsoever. I can't thank Chris, Steve, Matt and Josh enough for all their help, support, tolerance and assistance to get the car completed (and a huge thanks to all those PWSC owners that gave me their input). It was a LONG 7 month summer to get it all done up, but it's SO nice to have the car back home in the driveway!

More pictures to come as I continue to get it cleaned up, sorted up and ready for it's close up!

My last round of items are now going onto and into the car… Just got the ESM wheels into place…

I had to adjust the front suspension, and lower it slightly… I like the ESM wheels, but they honestly would look great on a "stanced" or "slammed" car, that's NOT something I'm into. I like the stance I got the car too, I took a caliper dial and got the fronts as close to identical as I could.

I'm VERY happy with the tires; Michelin Pilot Super Sports are just an amazing tire… quiet on the road and the give you the confidence for whatever you need. The ESM wheels did indeed completely transform the look of the car. I do plan on putting new tires on my OEM stock SVT EAP wheels, as the Falken Ziex tires just don't cut it.

Front headlights were starting to oxidize again… so they needed some CG V34 to bring them right back!

Up next, it was time to "spruce up" the interior. I FINALLY found a member that had a set of slightly used Redline tuning yellow carpeted floor mats. He was selling his Focus, so I hoped on and made him an offer on the FULL set of mats. I had to have them, and he was able to oblige me…. I'm very happy with them!

I really like the rear cargo mat. It really is a quality piece, such a shame that Redline stopped making them for these cars…

I also did a little work to the engine bay. Cleaned it up a bit, put some CG Black on black to all those plastic pieces, and cleaned up that heat shield…

I also matte painted my RED Focus Sport strut bar to black, so that it makes the car look factory OEM with the bar in place. I like how it came out…
