So real quick, last year I filed my return myself and I was single. It was pretty easy obviously. This year I'm married and I have options and don't know what to do. Especially since everyone is gang raping the financial specialist.

File single or jointly?
Where is the smart place to go?

Basically just throw me a bone here, and does anyone know the rough estimate return of an E-4 married with no kids?

Thanks gentlemen

Then your good..they can email/text you when your sh!t is sent out and when it hits your account..they also keep your records on e-file for a few years so you can compare..

Depends on your itemized deductions and any credits you could get. I've done better filing separately rather then jointly.

Man, check Militaryonesource.mil. Little bit of a PIA to register and stuff, but they offer free Tax filing through H&R Block and they offer insurance (for free) that their stuff is right. Free H&R Block is worth the problems of registering. Just did my 2012 today and am expecting a little more than I thought back...
