I'm thinking about getting the "stock look" 2.59" pulley and installing it myself. I know I need a tune when adding a pulley.

Is it safe to drive the car to the shop to be tuned? Should I just buy a tuner and do it myself?

I wouldnt drive it without a tune. Its easy enough to load it yourself however.

+1. No boost with an untuned pullied GT500 is safe.
