Mid-Pipe ?'s

Hey guys, I was wanting some input from the experts.

On my previous 01 GT, I had the Magnaflow cat-back with the Mac pro-chamber. I loved the sound, but it was a bit loud.

I now have a Magnaflow cat-back on my Cobra along with the other mods in my signature. I am now looking to add a mid-pipe.

Since I liked the Pro-chamber, I was figuring that the version they sale now with the high flow cats would give me a similar sound to my GT while calming it down some.


What I wanted know was "in your opinion" do you think I will see any gains that could warrant the pro-chamber since it has cats?

I picked up 9 HP/ 7 TQ with my prochamber. I think the gains that you'll get from a mid pipe are small so go with the one that will give you the sound you're looking for. The catted prochamber will give you a little more backpressure which may help your low end a little.
