Mid-length headers vs Full-length headers... which to go with?

I want headers... but I'm not sure if going fulll-length is worth the trouble if the mid-lengths offer as much or nearly as much performance gains.

Is there info/dyno sheets/personal experience on this? Thanks!

fwiw i'm going with mid-lengths if i ever do headers. my car is way to low for LT's and the gains are pretty close to LT's

go with mids.... if for no other reason that you dont have to remove them to do any tranny work.
They make the same numbers as lt's but with lt's if you do clutch work/tranny work you must do a header install the same time just to get into the bellhousing.

mids. longtubes have lower clearance and, as stated above, need to be removed even for clutch work ..... and don't try JBA's ...... - use Bassani for fit and finish and HP.

Anyone have any numbers comparing HP/TQ gains with midlengths vs fulllength?

I am also hoping I don't NEED to go with a Bassani X pipe should I go with their midlengths.

i remmber they had a test with mids vs LT's and it wast that much of a diff between the two really. i prob go with the mids cause i might have clearance prob with the LT's on. H&R SS Springs seats pretty low.
