Before I post up the time slips, dyno sheet, and track video (in car!) I would like to mention some things.

I dynoed the car yesterday on the 50 and 100 shot. It makes awesome low end hp and torque, but after 4,500 it only makes 50-60rwhp over my baseline (460rwhp #'s).

My window switch turns on at 3,900 to soften the hit because I launch around 3,800. My trap speed was absolute shit.

I really think my car needs a ported blower, plenum, and tb to make that upper rpm horsepower I need. It seems like I obviously need hp to go faster.

Next week Im upping my nitrous timing from 19 to 21 and running the 50 shot till I get a ported blower in spring.

Here is the dyno graph.

Track Video will be up tonight.

Here are the time slips and quick street pull from yesterday (100 jets).
Don't forget to turn off traction control like me..

You'll be there. I just watched your videos, very nice driving.

I just realized from the incar videos (which should be up later tonight or tommorow), I was actually bogging.

Nice runs man, but your car ran 102 mph in the 1/8 with only 460/527 and you ran the same mph with a 100 shot and 160+ lb/ft. Don't make any sense to me but damn good e.t. either way!

I am making very similar number on blower as you and want to spray mine. How do you like it and what rear end/fuel and air mods do you have. NICE NUMBERS!!!btw

What kinda goofy shit was going on when you were on the dyno?

BTW, tell the shop to get some real fans on there. That fan blowing into the HE does nothing for your numbers. Remember, the car needs to take in enough air as if it were going 140 MPH, that fan aint cutting it...

Pretty good numbers never-the-less....

So you were spraying till at least the 1/8th on your "blower only" 10.99 @ 123 - because your 1/8th was 102 as well.

You just don't run the same MPH with a 100 RWHP difference, :D

I just installed the spray Saturday..it wasn't in last week. So no, I wasn't spraying on my 10.99 run.

The car makes awesome lowend hp and torque with nitrous but its only used in first gear. Look at the dyno graph above 4,500, Im sure a ported eaton car makes similar power if not better above 4,500. Maybe not torque, but I don't think it matters.

Just need to try some new things. Im running a 50 shot next week with more timing. I really thinkg without a ported eaton the 100 shot doesn't do well.

Its not a shop. A paving company owner bought a dyno for his own use. They tune 3-4 cars a month with sct software. He lets me run the dyno when I need it.

Why do I need 140mph worth of air? The headlight was in and the hood was open. When I race the hood is closed.

Dyno #'s mean jack as you can see. I made 460rwhp/527 torque and ran a 10.99 at 123.

..Then I make gobs of hp and torque with nitrous and it doesn't run much quicker. Look at the dyno graph above 4,800..nothing impressive. The 50 shot and 100 shot are very similar up top.

Next week Im running a 50 and turning window at 3,300.

Corey, is your window switch turning the nitrous off at a certain rpm. If so this could be the reason for the good et with the lower trap speed. Either way the car hauls. I can't wait to have mine deep in the 10s.

My buddy overlapped video/sound of my outside run with my incar view..and your hearing some v8 and some honda with a 2 step doing their burnouts. I noticed that too..its sounds like the motor is gonna pop when your watching the incar.

I set the nitrous to turn off at 6,100, after my shiftpoint but before the revlimiter.

I just need some more practice.

Wow, I just reread my dyno graph. If you look closely hp and torque are not the same amounts on each side. I am losing over 50hp from 4,800 on up! Thats why my trap is so low. Gotta figure that out...air/fuel is steady so it must be timing.

Yeah, I just looked at it. On the 100 shot u made peak pwr. at about 4800 and then it fell off pretty drastically. Also, your torque #s aren't plotted correctly for some reason on the chart. If they are moved strait up to where they cross at 5250, then they read right. I wouldn't think you are running out of fuel with those pumps and since you are spraying a wet shot injectors shouldn't be an issue I wouldn't think.

I am running focus pumps. Do I need to run a BAP on top of this? I put in a bigger fuel jet my last run at the track thinking it may have been going lean?

I think its the hp loss affecting traps.

I sure wouldn't think that u would need to run a BAP with those pumps. I've thought about when I put nitrous on mine running a seperate fuel system just for the nitrous. Maybe a 1 gal. cell where the battery goes. Then I could run some higher octane race gas with the nitrous. What are your plugs gapped at? On a friend of mines car we found that he had neglected to regap his plugs for nitrous. We kept trying to up the shot and it wouldn't pick up. Regapped the plugs to 35 and it fixed the problem. Might need to also go down a heat range. Just a thought, because I'm kinda baffled myself.
