They don't hold 600+rwhp all that well I can tell you that. They bite
just after I hit 3rd on the street. I'm referring to the 17" MT ET DR's.
They just don't have enough sidewall IMO. They do alright for me at
the track though, but not good enough. The 15" Mickey's are a different
story.

It really depends on your power level. When I was at 450rwhp, Nittos
hooked pretty well on the street. They are like ice skates at 550rwhp though.
Same deal with the MT's.

I love mine, much better than the nitto's. I have had 3 sets of Nitto's and these hook much better, now they are not a cure all but they do hook better. When I first got them on I could hammer it in first and they held. After some DD on them all you need to do is a small burn out with some water and they get really sticky. just my .02

My 17" Streets are waaayyyy better then the Nitto's I have.

Heat them up at the track and they stick great.

Talking with a pal who has had both, he found the regular bias ET street hooked much better then the ET street radial, more side wall flex.
However street driving is the issue, mixed radial/bias.

they hold just fine. its all driver mod that tells everything. if u know how to heat your tires right and launch right u can get 1.5-1.6 60's all day, no problem.

like i said they will hold. if u can hit a 1.5-1.6 60's they should be great for u... i have a kb and spray and they hold just fine. i do like the et streets better because of the side wall but they both can get u the same results with both and the radials are more street friendly.

I love mine to death. They stick very good when just runnin around on the street (I daily drive mine). You can still light em up from 1st & 2nd if you want but with a little throttle control it is not a problem at all. I have IRS & 275/40R17 by the way.

A regular street tire on the rear of a KB Cobra is a liability in my opinion :burnout:
