Miami - Phoenix in 3 min

Took a short cruise from Miami, FL to Phoenix, AZ for a race last week. Put together a quick vid of the drive. I did it in 44h including stopping for sleep twice (5h each time). I had an average speed of 77mph and got 24.6mpg for the 5000mile drive. Not bad for a 500whp Cammed V8!

Haha yeah I had my detail guy booked in the day after I got home! I killed quite a few bugs (and birds apparantly) in 5000 miles

regarding my speed I say "no comment"

That's what I told the police officer when he asked how fast I was really going when he didn't manage to get a reading on me

He gave me a written warning for speeding and having tinted tails. Thank you Escort for making an amazing product :beer:

I drove from Chicago to PHX non-stop. It was near 30 hours because I took a detour through Lubbock TX then had to come up through New Mexico. I now live in Tucson and I think I saw the Catalina Foothills in one of your shots. Nice video but I'll have to go against everyone else and say I hated the music.
