MGW Shifter Install on a 2014 Shelby

Hello everyone.

My name is James and I work for Full Tilt Boogie Racing. We have had issues with shifting into 2nd gear at high RPMs so we decided to install MGW shifter in our 2014 Shelby. I was very impressed with the quality of MGW product. It looks and feels amazing. Unfortunately winter is here and the roads are too nasty to test drive, so I will have an update some time on a nice day in Spring. Thanks for looking.

I think i'm gonna cave and get an MGW soon. The side by side i've seen with a stock shifter shows just how badass the MGW is. Quality stuff.

You are not joking! The MGW shifter is leaps and bounds above the OEM junk!! I haven't even driven the car with it yet but I would highly recommend one to anybody.. LOL.

Very cool write up OP. Thank you for this. I think you are swaying me towards an MGW even thought I have the solid shifter bushings. Maybe in the coming year I will switch.

Why does it look like they aren't the same size?

I'm curious to hear if it really cures the 2nd gear lockout. I'm not sold that it will. It didn't fix the shifting in my 03 Cobra and I have read of people who still have problems in their 13's after installing the new shifter. Looks cool though.

It didn't fix the shifting in my 03 Cobra...

To be fair, that shifter is a direct mount and not a semi-remote such as on the GT500 TR6060.
