MGW RACE SPEC , track results

Looking for some experiences with the Race Spec shifter on a drag strip.
good,awsem? had my (MGW Gen1 shifted)to track for first time and didn't go well.
wouldn't go into 3rd or 4th on sticky track. on street no problem. thinking so much traction getting binding from extra flex have some steel bushing coming to try on support arm first.

What clutch are you running? I have the race spec and it helped the high rpm lockout but it did no go away until I installed the RXT and flywheel.

The race spec can't be fully described , it's accurate and no slop ... I did 2 weeks ago the RST + race spec and zero issues shifting 1-2 full rpm now unlike before

New clutch seems to be the best fix for high RPM lockout.

Clutch have the stock clutch now . only about 20 K on car. VMP charged so guess a clutch & press.plate on order for X-mas.
