or am i missing something?

also if anyone know where to get a shifter knob with the Ford style Cobra snake logo that would be great, i don't like the other interpretations of the snake

No buy pro 50 and mgw is only one with the engraved emblem...looks nasty but hard to speed shift with that knob

I had a MGW on all of my cars (including my 96' cobra). Best shifter I have ever owned.

JMO though.

What, pro 5.0 vs. MGW?

I've used the pro 5.0, steeda tri-ax, and mgw. Nothing has ever felt better or shifted smoother than the mgw. The steeda was OK but felt notchy and didn't shift as smooth. I can't really remember what I didn't like about the pro.

When I went with an auto trans I put my MGW up for sale on a local forum.
It sold in one hour. They are that good. The guy that bought it went on & on about how nice it was and how much he loved it.

The MGW is a very good shifter, well built, precise, and very high quality. It is also nice that you can adjust the position of the knob, this feature alone is worth the price.

The knob you seek is sold at CJ pony parts, I just bought the white one with the cobra logo on it. Very nice.

I've run Hurst, Steeda Tri-Ax, Pro 5.0 and even the Pro 5.0 with a Steeda handle and the MGW is by far the best shifter I've had ever. I have the composite race knob with the engraved Cobra emblem and it fits my hand perfectly

I've had every single shifter. And I can say that MGW takes the win in my opinion.

No just cause everyone else says so, but because it genuinely is a great piece.

Funny you should mention. I've had it for YEARS.

And the more you wear in an MGW, the better it is.
