Meziere Water pump???

Ok...I think I have a pulley going out on the belt system which runs my water pump....

got me thinkin...

Since this is a chore to change, I thought about going ahead and getting the Meziere water pump. Any thoughts?

Is it worth the 15 hp and 2 mpg?

My Cobra had one on it right before I bought it. The seller said the pulley bearing started going out on it so he switched it back to the stock one. (I got the Meziee too.) After browsing on SVTP, I've seen a lot of people say they have problems with Mezieres.

If my stock water pump ever fails, I'll probably have the Meziere reinstalled with a new pulley but I wouldn't spend the money to buy a Meziere if I didn't already have one.

So, 15hp and 2mpg? That sounds pretty impressive for just a water pump. Not necessarily worth the effort, but a surprising improvement if it's true.
