i just installed my metco 100mm aux idler on my car today and the instructions say to re-route the coolant temp sensor to over the coolant hose, the wire that is exposed is too short for that so i just kind of put it behind the bracket that it was previously on. i don't want this wire to get too hot or touch up against stuff that may burn the wire so i was jw how you guys have re routed the wire to keep it from heat. thanks!

Routing it between the new bracket and the head is OK.
I did it this way and it seems to put the least amount of tension on the "too short" wire, preventing damage to the wire, especially where it comes out of the connector.
This is not what the instructions say, but seems to be the best/better routing.
If someone has a better solution, I'm all ears too.
