Just a thought

I think thanking the Veterans and those who are active military is a great idea but I think it should be reserved for Veteran's Day. Memorial Day is a sacred day reserved for those who have lost their lives to preserve our freedoms. I think it takes away a little of it's meaning when we don't keep this as the main focus.

^agree...it honorable to mention all the vets and I don't mean to take anything away from them but this day is also for loved ones who have passed....
