Cool so I lowered slightly and seemed like it made it worst. So you saying I should lower it enough to where it doesn't hit the the trans when there's no cable on it ??

When the pivot is shorter, it moves the clutch arm towards the front of the car. So if your clutch arm is at the back edge of the opening when the TOB is just touching the pressure plate fingers, you would need to shorten the pivot.

If the clutch arm is at the front edge of the opening when the TOB is just touching the P/P fingers, you would need to lengthen the pivot.

Ideally, when the TOB is just touching the P/P fingers, you want the clutch arm just past the center towards the back of the car. This will give it enough room to move towards the front of the car to disengage the clutch without hitting the front edge of the opening.

Make sure you either use a locking nut (if there is room) or locktite on the pivot so it doesn't move once adjusted correctly.
