Just wanted to let everyone know that we installed and tested the Mcleod RXT twin disc clutch kit in our car and it fit perfect. The car drives just like stock but can now safely handle the power we're making with the big 2.9L Whipple kit.

If you're not familiar with McLeod clutches they build the baddest single disc and twin disc clutches on the market. We're also one of their largest distributors so you not only get the best pricing and customer service on them but fast shipping as well.

The most popular of their clutches are the RST and RXT twin disc setups. These clutches are direct replacement for your factory clutch and are designed to offer increased holding power without sacrificing stock like drveability.

The RST is aimed more for the every day street car making up to the 600rwhp range where the RXT is designed to handle up to 800rwhp.

We've been using the RXT clutches in all of our project cars for the last 5 years with excellent results. The RXT has a stock like pedal feel and can hold big power. It's also a clutch designed to handle abuse from the track. Most of the cars we have use the RXT in have made over 700rwhp and have been driven on slicks at the track.

Here's a few pics of the cars we've used the Mcleod RXT in.

I'm real confused. Was the RST not rated to 800, and the RXT 1000-1200 range?

Sorry for the confusion. The ratings from McLeod are fwhp. We prefer to rate them at the rear wheel. The numbers we rate them at are conservative as we've used the RXT in 1000rwhp applications with success.
